Equine Options - Manitoba’s Horse Rescue

Equine Options is a family owned and operated horse rescue, established to provide Manitoba's Horse Community with more choices when it comes time to relinquish a horse.  

We offer homes to horses that require alternative care arrangements.  Any horse qualifies for our program.  We are not breed or sport specific.

Once a horse is in our care one of several things may happen depending on the ability of the horse.  Some horses will come to us and live out their lives in retirement.  Other horses may be given training and "adopted" (sold) to approved homes. 

We offer programs where individuals, groups or families may sponsor a horse for a nominal fee.  As well, we offer part-boarding on some horses.  In these cases an individual or family can have part time access to a retrained riding horse.  We are also open to the public for educational purposes.

We reserve the right to match people with the appropriate horse, depending on their ability to manage the animal. We will inspect any prospective home for any and all of our horses.
